From Proven Trust to Modern Luxury: A Full Bathroom Transformation in Tulsa

At CS Remodeling, our greatest reward is when previous clients trust us with their next home transformation. When this homeowner needed a complete, floor-to-ceiling bathroom remodel on their second property after we previously solved moisture and tile issues on their first home, they contacted us directly to handle the entire project from concept to completion.

The Origin: A Working Relationship Built on Proven Trust

True craftsmanship creates lasting partnerships. Having experienced our dedication to detail and problem-solving on a past repair project, the homeowner knew CS Remodeling would treat their home like our own. This project called for taking a dated, low-ceiling space and reimagining it into an expansive, spa-level master sanctuary.

Finished Masterpiece: Raised 8ft ceilings, custom espresso double vanity, quartz counters, brushed gold hardware, and twin brass mirrors.

Custom Walk-In Shower: Floor-to-ceiling herringbone tile, natural river stone accent niche, hexagon mosaic pan, and matte black fixture suite.

Phase 1: Deep Demolition & Solid Structural Foundations

The original bathroom was heavily dated, built with an archaic mud-set and wire lath construction system beneath low, claustrophobic soffits. We stripped the space down to the bare studs and the structural concrete slab:

• Slab Inspection & Concrete Surgery: Upon clearing the foundation, we discovered hidden damage to the drain top caused by an unaddressed historic leak. We saw-cut and excavated the slab, expanded the drainage line, and set a brand-new drain positioned dead-center in the new shower footprint.
• Commercial-Grade Anti-Mold Remediation: Moisture prevention is paramount. We saturated the entire framing cavity with professional anti-mold sanitization treatments, allowing it to penetrate deeply before sealing the space.

In progress: Precision leveling and custom cabinetry framing with dedicated makeup vanity section.

Cabinet craftsmanship: Heavy-duty soft-close drawer slides, handcrafted joinery, and deep rich wood stain.

Phase 2: Architectural & Technological Reconfiguration

A luxury bathroom remodel goes far beyond surface cosmetics—it fundamentally improves volume, lighting, and air quality:

• Ceiling Height Elevation: We eliminated the dated dropped soffits above both the shower and vanity runs, opening the room up to a full, continuous 8-foot ceiling height.
• Shower Footprint Expansion: Relocated a perimeter wall to dramatically expand the walk-in shower area.
• Plumbing & Electrical Redesign: Converted the old single-basin sink into an expansive double vanity, and rewired all internal circuits to code with dedicated GFCI protection.
• Smart Environmental Control: Installed an advanced smart exhaust system controlled by a sleek in-wall digital touch panel integrating exhaust ventilation, main illumination, a nightlight setting, and a built-in Bluetooth audio speaker.

Phase 3: High-End Finishes & The 24-Hour Water Test

Every tile, fixture, and transition was chosen with expert design collaboration to eliminate stress for the homeowner:

• Custom Herringbone & Stone Craftsmanship: Hand-laid herringbone subway tile on the shower walls, paired with hexagonal mosaic tile across the shower pan and a custom river-stone recessed shampoo niche.
• Built-In Shower Bench & Matte Black Hardware: Integrated tiled bench seating, solid threshold capping, and premium matte black valves and handheld wand.
• The 24-Hour Flood Test: As an unbending CS Remodeling standard, we plug and submerge the shower pan under water for a continuous 24 hours before installing any tile. This certifies a 100% watertight seal with zero leaks for decades of peace of mind.

The finished retreat: Crisp modern walls, warm wood tones, and natural stone textures in harmony.

The CS Remodeling Signature: Quality Over Volume

At CS Remodeling, we consciously limit the number of projects we take on each month. This ensures our founder is personally on site overseeing daily progress, managing quality control, and ensuring every single joint, cut, and bead of silicone is flawless.

"We supervise every phase with passion, a deep love for the craft, and meticulous attention to detail. The result is a masterfully transformed space built to endure."
